Sittingbourne have announced their first summer signing.
Midfielder Dane Moore has joined from Tunbridge Wells, appearing against his old club in a 2-1 friendly defeat on Saturday.
Brickies boss Nick Davis said: “He’s a small lad but he puts himself about and is decent on the ball.
“He came through the Dulwich Hamlet academy with Conrad Lee and the philosophy there is to play good football.
“He’s had a good upbringing there with Gavin Rose, who has brought through loads of players like that.
“It doesn’t matter that he’s not the biggest because he will still put his foot in. He’s a box-to-box player who does both sides of the game well.”
Davis released half a dozen trialists last week and expects to do the same again by the time Bourne host Redhill on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
He added: “We’ll have more of an idea what the squad will look like by next week.
“There’s still too many people around at the moment."
Sittingbourne have been handed tricky home ties in the FA Cup and FA Trophy.
They meet Kent rivals Hythe in the FA Cup preliminary round on August 20, while Suffolk club Bury Town visit in the FA Trophy preliminary round on October 8.
