FA Cup first qualifying round: Injury-time drama sees Sittingbourne denied by Dover while Lordswood make history and Ashford and Dartford hit six

Two goals in added time denied Sittingbourne an FA Cup first qualifying round upset against Kent rivals Dover.

Ryan Maxwell’s Isthmian South East outfit looked set for victory against Isthmian Premier Whites after early goals from Henry Sinai and Ryan Kingsford.

But the visitors pulled a goal back in the third minute of added time, with Whites keeper Mitch Walker’s free-kick from inside his own half catching out opposite number Harley Earle.

And there was further drama two minutes later when Alfie Matthews made it 2-2, setting up a replay at Crabble on Tuesday night.

Lordswood reached the second qualifying round for the first time in their history after beating higher-league Binfield 3-1.

Southern Counties East Lords trailed their Isthmian South Central opponents at the break but Matt Gething and an Elliott Duncan double turned the tie around.

Gary Lockyer scored four times as Ashford United thumped Three Bridges 6-1 at Homelands.

Lockyer struck twice in each half, with Jack Saunders and Craig Stone also on target in a big home win for Danny Kedwell’s side.

Dartford cruised to a 6-2 victory over Marlow at Princes Park.

Eddie Dsane’s 42nd-minute strike opened the floodgates, with Olly Box scoring either side of half-time, followed by a Ben Allen double and a late sixth from Callum Jones.

Chatham were comfortable 2-0 winners at Westfield thanks to second-half goals from Bailey Akehurst and Freddie Sears.

Herne Bay march on after first-half goals from Frankie Smith and Michael Salako in a 2-0 victory at Ashford Town (Middx).

Cray Valley eased to a 3-1 win at Badshot Lea on their return to FA Cup action after last year’s run to the first round.

Adam Coombes gave the Millers a half-time lead, with Arthur Lee and Hassan Ibrahiym extending the advantage before Derek Luzinda’s reply.

James Billings scored the only goal in the 79th minute as Corinthian won 1-0 at Punjab.

A late penalty denied Southern Counties East side Larkfield & New Hythe victory against Isthmian Premier Cray Wanderers.

Bryan Zepo put the Larks in front on 68 minutes but Anthony Cook levelled from the spot with 11 minutes remaining.

Dan Carr gave Sheppey a second-half lead at home to Hanwell but Jordan Edwards levelled five minutes from time.

Margate and Hayes & Yeading will meet again following a goalless draw at Hartsdown Park.

Faversham also face a replay after drawing 0-0 at Broadbridge Heath.
