Sittingbourne manager Chris Lynch expects Ostersunds target Harry Taylor to make a decision on his future next month.

Forward Taylor has been offered a deal by the Swedish club following a three-month trial.

He's back with the Brickies for now, making his competitive debut in a 1-1 draw at Chichester last weekend.

Boss Lynch, who signed Taylor from Millwall last summer, said: "I'm sure Harry will be making his mind up sooner rather than later, probably around December time.

"If he decides to go we fully support him.

"It's the right move for him, a chance to play top-flight professional football.

"He's got to go really but you never know."

Lynch was hoping to strengthen his squad last week but was frustrated by the weather.

Potential signings were due at training but the session was cancelled after heavy rain.

The Brickies boss will try again tomorrow.

He said: "There's potentially three to add because another one's become available.

"We've got strength in depth and the beauty of that is we're in a position where we only need to add real quality.

"It's not just a case of us signing them, they've got to show us what they're about, that they've got the right attitude to fit in here and that they're good enough."

Sittingbourne host high-flying VCD in Isthmian South East on Saturday.

They're looking to build on a useful point at Chichester, where man-of-the-match Jordan Perrin saved a late penalty.

Lynch said: "Chichester are a decent team - an away point is happy days for me.

"We defended well and Jordan Perrin was absolutely outstanding.

"He saved the penalty and made three very good saves from outside the box.

"We're on to 12 points now and it's just a matter of getting a win here and there to get us in the top 10.

"Once we're in there, and with players back from injury, we can cement our place."
