Kent Kings beat Devon Demons at Central Park to reach quarter-finals of Knockout Cup

Kent Kings eased into the quarter-finals of the Knockout Cup at Central Park on Monday night.

They beat Devon Demons 56-36 in the second leg of their first-round tie to complete an aggregate 107-74 success.

Guest riders starred for Kent with Coventry youngster Oliver Greenwood winning all five of his heats, while Steve Worrall claimed 13 points and two bonus points.

David Mason - deputising as captain with Simon Lambert on Elite League duty - collected 13+1 on a good night for the veteran rider.

Kings take on Wimbledon in the Cearns Trophy at Central Park on Bank Holiday Monday. Gates open at 1.30pm.
