Prolific Sittingbourne strikers Ryan Golding and Joe Taylor are going nowhere – for now.

The pair have scored 31 goals between them this season, with Golding one ahead of Taylor on 16 after his third hat-trick in 12 games in the 3-0 win over Eastbourne Town last weekend.

Taylor has already been on trial in Sweden with Ostersunds and Brickies joint-boss Matt Wyatt accepts there will be interest in the duo.

But he said: “I certainly hope we can keep hold of them, at least until the end of the season.

“You never know but they’re both under contract with us, so there’s no reason why they shouldn’t stay here.

“They’re both working hard and scoring goals and when players are successful, you know there’s a chance people will be looking at them."

Sittingbourne's rearranged Ryman League, Division 1 South game with Hythe on Tuesday night was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. The sides meet at Reachfields on Saturday with midfielder Nick Dunsdon (hip) the only concern.
