Sittingbourne have signed midfielder Jake Beecroft from Tunbridge Wells.
Brickies boss Nick Davis was alerted to Beecroft's availability and moved for the former Folkestone man, who completed his move on Tuesday night.
Davis said: "Jake's different class. He's a player who drives forward from midfield and scores goals and they don't come along too often.
"We're looking decent and might just surprise a few next season."
Antonio Gonnella will be offered terms by Sittingbourne after impressing at pre-season training.
Gonnella was the pick of 29 players who turned out at Woodstock Park for Brickies' first summer session on Saturday.
The much-travelled midfielder, who counts Fisher, Hastings, Margate and Maidstone among his former clubs, is keen on a move to the Brickies.
Davis said: "I'm definitely going to offer Antonio something.
"I always remember him as a winger but where he's had injuries and lost pace he's played the last couple of years as a holding midfielder.
"We're missing Jono Richardson in that position for the first month of the season, so it may be that we get Antonio in to play there.
"He's such a clever player. Watching him on Saturday and the way he pinged the ball about, his variety of passing was fantastic.
Brickies play their first friendly at Crockenhill on Saturday (3pm).
