Steve Boxall was pipped in the final of the inaugural Kent Laurels individual tournament at Central Park on Monday night.

Boxall was the only Kent Kings man to reach the final, finishing runner-up to Rye House Rockets' Simon Lambert in the battle for WJ Cearns Trophy.

Ben Morley, Adam Kirby, Benji Compton, Connor Coles and Sam Woods reached the semi-finals.

Jack Kingston was knocked out at the heat stage on his comeback after almost a month out with a broken knuckle.

Kent are next in action in the National Trophy at Stoke Potters on Saturday, followed by Mildenhall Fen Tigers at home in the National League on Monday.
