Nick Davis has until the new year to turn things around at Sittingbourne.
Brickies are in the bottom three of the Ryman League, Division 1 South and lost their 11th game in a row on Tuesday night after a 2-0 defeat to Worthing.
Speaking before Tuesday's defeat, secretary John Pitts said: “At the moment Nick has our full support but if things don’t improve we will have to consider what we are going to do.
“If, in the new year, results still haven’t changed, then we will have to look at our options. That would give us plenty of time to stay up.
“I’m still confident we will pull out of trouble. We have been unlucky but we also need to be sensible about it and results do need to change.”
Davis’ side were fifth before the rot set in and while they perhaps overachieved in the early weeks of the season, they shouldn’t be fighting relegation.
Mr Pitts said: “I think we should be around where we finished last year – 12th place – something like that."
Davis said: “We’re racking our brains trying to sort things out. One win and everything looks rosy again but it’s difficult at the moment. Everything has gone against us but I know the players are fighting for me and the club.”
Brickies go to Molesey this Saturday before taking on Kent rivals Herne Bay at Woodstock Park on Tuesday.
