Chris Lynch fancies Sittingbourne's chances of beating Kent rivals Hythe this weekend.
The teams meet at Woodstock on Saturday with boss Lynch confident his side will cause problems for a Cannons team whose Bostik South East play-off bid has faded.
Thirty-goal striker Zak Ansah is an obvious dangerman but Sittingbourne are determined to bounce back from a 2-1 loss at Whitstable which ended a run of five straight wins.
Lynch said: "It's going to be an interesting fixture because I set up to win every game, regardless of who we're playing.
"At the beginning of the season Hythe would have been heavy favourites but now I'd back us to go and beat them, I really would.
"It'll be another young squad, which is all about building for next season, and I need to get these young players playing and getting a bit of experience.
"These are the type of challenges they should be aspiring to at these levels.
"Hythe are on a strange run where they've won a few and lost a few but it's going to be a tough game and very even.
"They've got their strengths, especially Zak.
"We know we have to keep him quiet but down the other end we are confident we can score against anyone in this league."
New signing Harry Barkaway is set to continue in defence after joining from Canterbury.
The 19-year-old made his debut at Whitstable last weekend and is a player Lynch thinks highly of.
He said: "I feel he's one for the future but he can definitely play now.
"I'm all about using people to their strengths and the type of player I like to go for in central defence is not only solid and can defend well, it's someone who's hungry, who wants to succeed and has good ball-playing capabilities and he certainly fits that."
