Chris Lynch says Sittingbourne will finish in the top 10 after a terrific turnaround.

Brickies were fighting Bostik South East relegation when Lynch took charge in January but they're up to 13th place after five wins in six games, eight points clear of bottom side Greenwich Borough.

The manager has warned his players against complacency but they're only three points off 10th place and Lynch is confident of continuing their fine run at Sevenoaks on Saturday.

He said: "There is no team in this league that we should be worried about, quite frankly.

"There's no easy games but we've shown we're a team.

"It's come a little bit late in the season but we'll be top 10, that's what the target is now and, if we win every game, who knows what will happen?

"To succeed, you've got to set the players up and you must have the right environment and that's what we're creating now.

"We're going to Sevenoaks to win, to gain three points there, and to beat Whitstable the week after.

"That's how it's going to be. That's the target and there's no reason why they can't achieve that.

"That's another six points and that puts us firmly in the top 10.

"Obviously we've got some tough games coming up, Hythe and Whyteleafe, but they're the challenges we should be looking at.

"We've got nine games left and when we're down to four, we will see exactly how high we can finish."

Sittingbourne's new-found confidence is refreshing but the players know they must stay on their toes.

Lynch added: "It's about consistency and making sure we're delivering the right messages and making sure those players are confident.

"Don't forget, they've got to learn as well, they've got to be prepared to have the right attitude.

"Look, no one's ever made it, no matter how high up you are, even in the Premier League you can still learn.

"They're the messages and they've taken them on board and they're reaping the rewards right now.

"At the same time, we've got to be careful of complacency here, we've got to make sure the lads don't get over-confident.

"They've worked so hard to get where they have but that can be taken away in an instant.

"Every performance, we want the best out of you and if you don't deliver, you know you'll be off and that will affect whether you're selected next week."
