Boss Nick Davis is desperate to avoid an FA Cup upset and earn some prize money for Sittingbourne.
There’s £1,925 on offer to the winners of Brickies’ preliminary round tie at Kent Invicta League side Seven Acre & Sidcup.
And having crashed out of both the FA Cup and FA Trophy without making a penny last season, Davis is keen for a run.
The tie has been brought forward to Friday night (7.45pm) because Seven Acre groundshare at Thamesmead’s Bayliss Avenue.
The winners will travel to Met Police in the first qualifying round on September 12.
Davis said: “It’s important we make some money out of the cups, especially after what happened last year. It would be nice to make it through a couple of rounds and bring in four or five grand."
Brickies, who beat Whitstable 1-0 in Tuesday night's Ryman League Division 1 South clash thanks to Olie Bankole, will welcome back centre-half Jono Richardson for his first game of the season but key midfielder Jake Beecroft is unavailable.
Bourne are due to return to league action at Ramsgate on Bank Holiday Monday (3pm) but the fixture will be postponed if either Brickies or Rams, who host Tooting & Mitcham, require an FA Cup replay on Tuesday night.
