New Sittingbourne manager Chris Lynch is making big changes.
Lynch expects to make "six or seven" signings in time for Saturday's game at Ramsgate, with midfielder Billy Lewins and Margate defender Joshua Spencer his first recruits.
Brickies are just a point off the foot of Bostik South East and Lynch has wasted no time identifying areas to strengthen following Aslan Odev's resignation.
Lynch said: "As it stands, unfortunately there were some changes in personnel that needed to happen from my point of view.
"It's always the same when a new manager comes in, you always want the type of players that fit your style and your systems.
"There's always going to be a couple of casualties but we did need strengthening in many areas so I've been working hard to resolve that.
"You'll find six or seven new players by the end of the week."
Lynch played for Whitstable and Dover and was on the books at Watford as a young player under the late former England manager Graham Taylor.
A motorbike accident ended his playing days and he turned to coaching, with his work as head of youth development at Dover catching Sittingbourne's eye.
He's sure Brickies fans will enjoy his brand of football and is confident of survival.
He said: "It is about hard work, commitment, desire and professionalism.
"It's all good saying these things but you've got to have a plan in place to enforce it, especially with your transfer policy.
"In terms of the style of play, I'm about possession-based, attractive, attacking football.
"We will create chances by being patient and playing good football that the fans will like to see and ultimately hitting teams where it hurts.
"We're 16th in the league, we've only won five games all season, and we've got a big game on Saturday against Ramsgate.
"We've got to pick up some points very quickly.
"I believe we can turn that around, that's not an issue, and I've certainly got the character in the dressing room.
"It's about giving them clear guidance now and roles and responsibilities, so they know what they're doing when they go out on that pitch.
"That's what the aims are.
"It's a case of going out and producing and I'm confident we can do that.
"My job is to make sure we are safe and build for the future and that's exactly what I intend to do."
