Matt Wyatt wants to draw a line under the Nick Davis saga and get on with managing Sittingbourne.
Davis quit as joint-manager last week and accused Wyatt of ‘stabbing him in the back’.
Wyatt insisted he had done nothing wrong and since taking sole charge has led Brickies to three pre-season friendly victories.
Wyatt said: “I don’t want to keep talking about it. It’s best for all parties that we move on, otherwise it goes on forever.
“I didn’t want to fall out with Nick and I wish him and his family all the best. The players are all fully behind me. I’ve not had one player come to me saying they’re not happy.
“To be honest, and I’m not being disrespectful to Nick, nothing’s changed from the players’ point of view because I did a lot of the work on the management side anyway.
“All I can say is we’ve played three games and won all three since I’ve been on my own."
Coach Barry Crimmen has been promoted to assistant manager, while defender Jono Richardson will take on player-coach duties.
Farnborough have pulled out of a friendly at Sittingbourne on Thursday, with Kent Football United taking their place. Brickies then host VCD on Saturday and Chatham on Tuesday.
