Home Summer competitions Rhino Week
To celebrate Rhino Week at Howletts Wild Animal Park, near Canterbury in Kent, we’re giving one lucky winner the chance to enjoy a wild day out at the park with family tickets.
During the school holidays, Howletts’ Wild Summer will be shining the spotlight on a different species each week so you can find out more about your favourite animals.
From Monday, August 5 to Sunday, August 11 it’s Rhino Week and, to celebrate, there will be a themed activity trail, free animal feeds, talks from the experts, face painting and mask-making stations.
Also, make sure you visit Sammy, Damara and Rukuru, Howletts' family of Eastern Black Rhinos - there are only estimated to be around 5,000 black rhinos left in the wild so you won't want to miss out on seeing them.
Your family ticket will give two adults and two children access to the 90-acre parkland to see the 390 animals at Howletts, as well as the Animals of the Ice Age trail and outdoor play areas.
And, even if you don’t win, you can still take advantage of the new summer ticket value bundle offer at Howletts that give visitors great savings on group tickets.
