Air ambulance crew members and paramedics rushed to Tenterden after a woman suffered head injuries from a fall.
The woman is believed to have fell outside Jenners electrical store in Ashford Road at around 11am this morning.
The air ambulance landed at the recreation ground, and Cllr Callum Knowles described seeing three of the crew running up to Ashford Road shortly after.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said the woman was taken to the William Harvey Hospital, with air ambulance crews inside to provide support.
She was believed to have regained consciousness by the time she arrived.
