Delays after two car crash in Burnthouse Lane, Smarden

Three people have been taken to hospital after a two car crash.

Ambulance crews attended the scene and three patients, were treated before being taken to William Harvey Hospital.

A witness told Kent Online: "There is a vehicle in a field on its roof and a silver people carrier on the road, which has very serious front end damage.

"I did stop to offer my help as I live nearby but there was a women in uniform that seemed to have it under control.

"I have seen the ambulance arrive since. It's the worst one I've seen for a while in the lanes."

Motorists are asked to approach the area with caution and to expect delays.
