Firefighters cut man free from Volkswagen after crash with lorry in Small Hythe Road, Tenterden

Firefighters had to cut the roof off a vehicle to rescue a man following a crash.
The casualty in his 60s was trapped after his Volkswagen saloon and a lorry collided in Small Hythe Road, Tenterden.
Fire crews attended the scene just after 12.30pm and worked with paramedics to assess the man before removing the vehicle's roof.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 11.53am following a collision between a lorry and a car in Small Hythe Road in Tenterden.
"Officers attended the scene alongside Kent Fire and Rescue Service and the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
"A man was taken to a local hospital for treatment."
