Tenterden's Lester Thorpe, 35 charged with multiple fraud offences

A 35-year-old man has been charged with a string of fraud offences across the country.
Lester Thorpe, 35, of Leslie Crescent in Tenterden, was charged on Wednesday with five counts of fraud.
The charges relate to crimes carried out throughout England between February 2014 and September 2017.
Thorpe appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court via video link on Thursday where he was remanded in custody.
He is next due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Thursday, October 5.
