Patients of Ivy Court Surgery are being asked to support an expansion bid.
The GP surgery in Recreation Ground Road, Tenterden, has for 20 years wanted to take over the neighbouring East Cross Clinic and develop the site.
Now it has a petition in the surgery and online asking for patients’ support.
Practice manager Lyndsey Webber said: “The response has been fantastic.
“The online petition only went live this week and we had over 300 signatures in 24 hours.
“It has been available in the surgery to sign for a couple of weeks and the response there has been great as well.”
The surgery has put a business case to NHS England, which owns East Cross Clinic.
Ms Webber added: “As far as we are aware, there is a meeting in December.”
The surgery is supported by the town council in its expansion bid.
