Police want to identify a man who called at pensioner's house claiming he needed to service the boiler.

Officers investigating a report of a burglary have issued an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to.

The incident took place in Heather Drive, St Michaels, Tenterden, where the homeowner who is in his 80s, let the caller in.

Police would like to identify this man (5180354)

After removing a panel from the boiler it was reported the man tried to get into every room in the house, saying that he needed to check the radiators.

He left shortly afterwards and the victim called his boiler company who confirmed they had not sent anyone to work in the property.
