A family have paid a moving tribute to a 55-year-old motorcyclist killed in a triple fatal crash.
Malcolm Batt, of Dumbourne Lane, in Smallhythe, Tenterden, was one of three people who died in the accident on Sunday.
He was riding along the A259 near Brookland on Romney Marsh when the smash happened with a car.
Two women in the Renault Megane, both from the Midlands, also died.
In a statement, Mr Batt’s family said: “Our wonderful husband, dad, brother, son, son-in-law, uncle and friend was loved and adored by all who knew him.
“His infectious smile, his laugh and generosity are just a few of the wonderful qualities that made him what he was – one of life’s true gentlemen.
“Malcolm will be sorely missed by us all of us who had the privilege of having him in our lives.”

“Malcolm was a giant of a man who lived for his family, friends and dogs. His genuine warmth and appetite for life touched all who knew him.
Mr Batt was married to Susan and had three sons, William, James and Stewart, and a daughter, Elizabeth.
Following the accident, a 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on bail until July 21.
Five people were in the car – the two female passengers who died and two men and a baby who survived. They are thought to have been related.
One of the women was a 36-year-old from Birmingham, and the other, who was 65, was from Walsall.
The three injured were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening.
Witnesses are still being sought to the accident, which happened on Rye Road at 3.50pm.
Police are hoping those driving a purple VW camper van will come forward to help with their inquiries.
The van was seen in the area at around the time of the crash, but was not involved in the incident.
Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen the black Renault or the motorbike in the moments before the incident.
Sgt Glyn Walker said: “We are keen to hear from any witnesses who have yet to contact us, in particular the occupants of a purple VW camper van.
“We understand this vehicle was in the area at the time of the collision. It is not thought that the camper was directly involved but the occupants could be important witnesses and we would like to hear from them.”
Kent Fire and Rescue Service attended to assist the other emergency services and were at the scene until 9.30pm.
The road was closed for several hours.
Anyone with information should contact police on 01622 798538.
Inquests are expected to be opened next Wednesday.
