MEMBERS of the Tenterden Cats Protection are seeking a new home for a Max, an unusually large tabby and white boy.

A branch spokesman said: “Unfortunately, he sustained a quite serious leg injury and has been convalescing in our care for some time.

“Happily, he is now fully recovered, although he has been left with a slight limp.

“Despite this, Max is still a powerful cat and can be over enthusiastic when playing at times. With this in mind we feel he would not be suited to a home with small children.”
