Police have been called to a crash near a high street.

Traffic delays have been reported near Bridewell Lane, Tenterden, this morning following the accident.

Kent Highways said the incident unfolded near the Tesco Superstore at about 11am, prompting a police reaction.

“Expect delays in the area,” the authority says.

A police spokesman said: “We attended following a report of a one-car collision in Bridewell Lane, Tenterden at 10.40am today.

“Officers assisted with traffic management and the vehicle was moved out of the road. No injuries were reported.”
