A driver was cut free from a car after crashing into a tree.

Police were called to the scene in Budd's Lane at the junction of Stocks Road in Wittersham, Tenterden, just before 12.40pm.

Fire crews also arrived to remove the roof of the car in order to release the man from the vehicle.

He was then taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Emergency services left the scene just before 2.25pm.
