Cafe owner Sharon Naden is offering her customers an epic breakfast loaded with 7,500 calories and 512g of saturated fat.
Sharon’s mega fry-up at Papa Joe's Cafe in St Michael's, near, Tenterden, is called the 10Terden Terminator, as it features 10 servings of each item.
The dish is so huge it has to be ordered 24 hours in advance as preparation and cooking occupies all of Sharon's grills.
It’s enough to make NHS dieticians go faint. They recommend a healthy diet of no more than 30g of saturated fat a day for men and 20g daily for women. Daily calorie intake should be 2,500 and 2,000 respectively.
Sit down at Papa Joe’s in Ashford Road, and you’ll have it served on a one-and-a-half foot long salver dish, with the chance to have your name entered on Sharon’s ‘Wall of Fame’.
To be ‘famous’ you’ll need to eat it all up on your own in 30 minutes and then it will be free of charge. Fail and you’re put on the Wall of Shame.
"If they eat it in 30 minutes, we will only charge them £10"
The dish consists of 10 sausages, 10 rashers of bacon, 10 eggs, 10 tomatoes, 10 large mushrooms, 10 hash browns, five fried slice and five slices toast, baked beans, tomatoes...
with a cup of tea or coffee thrown in with free refills. The bill is £20.
The epic breakfast is modelled on American TV series Man Versus Food.
Sharon said: “My dish is ideally designed for two people to share but if they eat it in 30 minutes, we will only charge them £10.
"Those brave enough to eat it all on their own in that time, then they pay nothing."
“The dish is only available at weekends. It’s all for a bit of fun, really. I really love looking after my customer and I treat them all with tender loving care.”
