A woman driver had to be cut free from her vehicle after a two-car crash.
It happened at Frittenden Road, Biddenden, yesterday evening.
This was just before 7.20pm and police, paramedics and three fire engines were called out.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews used small tools, hydraulic cutters and spreaders to release a female who was trapped inside one of the vehicles."
She was then passed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service staff and treated for a leg injury.
Fire crews were at the scene until just after 8.30pm.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and arranged for recovery of the vehicles."
The police patrol left the scene at 12.20am.
