Cookie Policy

This Cookies Policy applies to the KM Group websites, (our “Sites”), which are operated by or on behalf of KM Media Group Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”).

We want to ensure that you are aware of the information we store on your device(s), so that you can make informed choices using the information below.

BY USING OUR SITES YOU ARE CONSENTING TO OUR USE OF COOKIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS COOKIE POLICY.

1. What are Cookies?

A cookie is a small text file stored by your web browser on your computer or mobile device. Some cookies are essential for our Sites to work and help us provide you with relevant information. They also allow us to recognise your computer (but not specifically who is using it) when you access our Sites and to improve the usability and performance of our Sites.

We use the following cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies. These are cookies that are required for the operation of our Sites. They include, for example, cookies that enable you to log into secure areas of our Sites, use a shopping cart or make use of e-billing services.
  • Analytical/performance cookies. They allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around our Sites when they are using it. This helps us to improve the way our Sites work, for example, by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily.
  • Functionality cookies. These are used to recognise you when you return to our Sites. This enables us to personalise our content for you, greet you by name and remember your preferences (for example, your choice of language or region).
  • Targeting cookies. These cookies record your visit to our Sites, the pages you have visited and the links you have followed. We will use this information to make our Sites and the advertising displayed on it more relevant to your interests. We may also share this information with third parties for this purpose. We undertake this activity on the basis of your consent, which we request on their behalf through the Consent Management Platform (‘CMP’) pop-up, which is displayed when you first visit our sites. This pop-up will reappear from time to time in case you change your mind, or when something changes (usually every 30 days). If at any time you wish to review your choices, you may do so by clicking the ‘Privacy’ button at the bottom of the page or from within the menu on mobile devices. Most of our third-party advertising partners operate within an industry framework and code of practice issued by the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) called the “Transparency and Consent Framework”, which sets out the technical means for your choices to be passed through the ad networks. It also requires that members adhere to IAB policies and standards of behaviour.
