This striking image was taken in Ramsgate after a 4x4 crashed and ended up balanced on the side of a parked car.

Police and paramedics were called at around 6pm on Monday after the accident in Cecilia Road.

Eyewitness Dean Miller said he was amazed to walk outside his step-brother's house to find the 4x4 on its side against the side of a Peugeot 206.

He added that he believed the driver was being checked over by paramedics.

It is unknown as yet if any other cars were involved or whether anyone has been injured.

KentOnline has approached the police and ambulance service for a comment.
