An 80s-themed restaurant mimicking the types of eateries found in mountainside holiday resorts is due to launch on the Kent coast.
The pop-up, called Après Ski, is set to serve its first customers when it opens inside Rendezvous Margate in Ethelbert Crescent next month.
Bosses say it will specialise in serving cheesy dishes, like Swiss Raclette, fondues and French meal Tartiflette.
A spokesman said of the new business: “To date Rendezvous in Margate has been a firm favourite with those looking for a hearty breakfast or light lunch.
“Après Ski will be open for lunch and dinner and makes the perfect place for those looking to enjoy something a bit different from an evening in Margate.
“All of the dishes are designed to be shared at the table for a cosy, communal vibe that celebrates sharing your food with friends or family.”
The drinks menu will include a number of cocktails, mulled wines, ciders and toddies.
And the restaurant will be filled with the sound of 80s tunes, while staff will be kitted out in shell suit aprons.
It will also be decked out with faux animal hides and wall-mounted antlers in a bid to look like a ski chalet.
The pop-up's run at the site will last until February.
