Strapping lads at The Gym at Westwood Cross have been taking on challenges with the aim of raising £1,000.
The team, made up of personal trainers and members, have been trying their hand at activities in aid of the Movember Foundation.
The first challenge was to start sporting a moustache as part of Grow a Mo for a Bro, while the second was to walk, jog or run 60km throughout the month for the Move for Movember challenge.
The last, Mo-ment, is to be held today, where members and guests can enjoy a fun-packed day of fitness activities.
Matthew Finch, general manager of The Gym at Westwood Cross, said: “We are all really excited to be doing these challenges and raise awareness of men’s health along with raising vital funds for the Movember Foundation.”
The foundation aims to change the face of men’s health and they are addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men, including prostate cancer and testicular cancer, as well as mental health issues and suicide prevention. By 2030 they aim to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%.
