A biker has been flown to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Ramsgate.

The motorcycle and Ford Fiesta collided at the crossroads in Manston Road.

Emergency crews including police and the air ambulance were called at around 11.10am.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, suffered serious injuries and was flown to a London hospital.

The road was closed between Spitfire Road and Manston Court while accident investigation work was carried out. It reopened at around 5.30pm.

Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
