A woman arrested on suspicion of assault after three people - including herself - were injured in a stabbing has been released without charge.
The 57-year-old was being held in police custody until today, when she was handed over to the care of mental health professionals.
Emergency crews including the air ambulance were called to the incident in Brights Place at about noon on Friday.
Police said they were called to "reports of concern for the welfare" of a person, and arrived to find three people suffering from injuries - some "consistent with stab wounds".
The three were treated by ambulance crews, but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Today, a police spokesman said: "A 57-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assault has been released without charge. She is now in the care of mental health practitioners."
Several police and ambulance vehicles were spotted at the scene on Friday, and the air ambulance landed in the grounds of the nearby Chatham House Grammar School.
