The air ambulance had to attend the scene of a crash on Manston Road earlier today, with nearby routes expected to be closed for a while.

The one-car incident took place at 8:25am this morning on the Shottendane Road junction and involved a peugeot.

Police are also at the scene, and have set up local diversions. Inspector Ian Swallow said: "The road is likely to be closed for some time and we would ask drivers to avoid the area if at all possible."
