Air ambulance lands on Margate Beach after man found injured in hotel

A man has been taken to a London hospital after being found injured at a seaside hotel.

Police were called to the building in Buenos Ayres, Margate , at 3.20pm today.

The helicopter was seen landing at Margate Beach this afternoon

An air ambulance landed nearby at Margate Main Sands - but he was later taken a London hospital by road.

A police spokesman said: "Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing and officers remain at the scene."
