Air ambulance leaves Dane Valley Road in Margate near B2052 to take casualty to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford

An air ambulance attended a four-way junction to take a person to hospital after they collapsed in the street.
Emergency services were called to Dane Valley Road, Margate at about 1pm yesterday (June 19).
The helicopter landed on Windmill Community Gardens near a Coral betting branch at the junction with Millmead Road (B2052).
Three more ambulances and a police car were also spotted at the junction.
A spokeswoman for South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) said: “We were called at approximately 1pm yesterday to reports a person had collapsed on Dane Valley Road in Margate.
“Crews arrived and assessed and treated one person, before they were joined on scene by Air Ambulance Charity Kent, Surrey, Sussex (KSS).
“They airlifted the patient to the William Harvey Hospital for further medical treatment.”
