Arrests after man suffers serious injuries in reported Ramsgate seafront attack

A trio has been arrested after a man suffered serious injuries following a reported attack on a seafront.

The incident is said to have happened on Harbour Parade in Ramsgate at about 2.42am yesterday.

Police were called after reports a man had been assaulted by three men and sustained injuries.

The victim - in his 20s - was taken to a local hospital and has since been discharged.

Later that day, officers arrested a 23-year-old man and a 28-year-old man on suspicion of assault.

They have since been bailed pending further enquiries.

A police spokesman added: “The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information that could assist officers’ enquiries is urged to contact us on 01843 222289 quoting 46/125034/24.
