Wilfred Road, Ramsgate: e-fit released in connection with attempted robbery

Police are hunting a pale, tattooed thug who tried to snatch a woman's handbag in the street.

The victim, a woman in her 20s, was walking away from Ramsgate railway station when a man approached her from behind and attempted to grab her handbag from her shoulder.

She screamed and the suspect was seen running away in the direction of the station.

The robbery bid happened in Wilfred Road on Sunday, April 9 at around 2.30 pm, and police are now appealing for help to find the suspect.

He is described as being white with a pale complexion and having tattoos on his arms.
