They attempted to speak to him but he left the area on foot at about 2pm on Monday.

But after a search by officers, a 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and a raid was carried out at a nearby home.

A police spokesman said: "A large amount of cannabis, cash and an extendable baton have been seized as part of an ongoing investigation and the man has been released while further inquiries are carried out."
