A beach hut was completely destroyed in what may be the latest in a spate of vandalism at Broadstairs.

Firefighters were called to the hut at Stone Bay in the early hours of this morning.

One hut was razed to the ground, while neighbouring huts were damaged by the fire.

It comes just weeks after vandals tried to rip the roofs off several huts along the same stretch.

A police spokesman said they had no record of the beach hut fire.
