Boat fire outside house in Millmead Road, Margate, police want witnesses

Police are continuing to investigate an arson attack on a boat and need witnesses.

The vessel was deliberately set alight outside a house in Millmead Road, Margate.

Officers were in the area when they found the boat was on fire at around 3am on September 12.

A Kent Police spokesman said: The occupants of the house were alerted to the incident by patrols and firefighters were called to the scene.

"There were no reported injuries."

The blaze caused some damage to the outside of the property.

Witnesses or anyone with information, who have not yet contacted police, should call 01843 222289 quoting the reference number 46/175316/19.
