Two men have been arrested after a parked car was hit.

Shortly before 2.30pm officers signalled for a car to stop in the Cecil Street area of Margate.

The car did not stop and less than a minute later crashed into a parked vehicle in Alexandra Road, which has been closed as a result.

The pair who were travelling inside have been arrested and taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

A quantity of drugs has also been seized from the car.
