A child has been taken to hospital after a crash in Margate this morning.

A two-car collision took place in Millmead Road, at about 830am.

A police spokesman said: "Police were called at 8.33am to reports that a car had collided with a parked car on Millmead Road, Margate.

"Officers are currently at the scene and the road has been closed whilst recovery is arranged.

"A child has been taken to a local hospital for treatment."
