Cigarettes stolen during shop burglary in Station Road, Birchington

Cigarettes have been swiped from shop during a raid.

Three men forced their way into a shop in Station Road, Birchington , this morning before driving away in a black or dark blue van.

Two of them were wearing dark hooded tops and another was dressed in a blue puffer jacket and a baseball cap.

Police were called to the scene at 5.40am after reports of the shop door being forced.

Anyone who saw the incident or the van in the area, or who has CCTV or dashcam footage, is asked to call police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/150974/20, or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
