Missing Margate man sparks Kent Police appeal

Police are appealing to the public for help in finding a 59-year-old man who is still missing from his home in Margate.

Michael Wiles was last seen at his Wellesley Road home at 8am yesterday, (Saturday).

Inspector Steve Impey said: "Mr Wiles left the house without his mobile phone, keys or his medication for diabetes and concern is growing for his welfare.

"It is out of character for him to go missing like this and his family are very worried about him."

Mr Wiles is described as white, around 6ft 1in tall, of a slim build with pale skin and fair receding hair.

It is not known what he is wearing but he normally dresses in jeans and casual shirts.

Anyone who thinks they may have seen Mr Wiles is asked to call 101, quoting reference 17-596.
