Energetic dance group Diversity cancelled their long-awaited Thanet date at the last minute on Monday evening, disappointing hundreds of fans.

The Britain’s Got Talent winners called off their Margate Winter Gardens show scheduled for Tuesday (March 23) “due to technical problems.”

Paul Palmer, entertainments and facilities manager at the venue, said: “The show has been rescheduled for April 27. Diversity want to apologise for any inconvenience that this might cause but are dedicated to bringing the show to Margate and are now looking forward to ending their UK tour in the town.

“All tickets for Tuesday’s show are valid for the rescheduled date; refunds are available from the original point of purchase.”
