Hunt for suspect after burglary attempt in Albert Terrace, Margate

Police want to trace this man after a burglary.

The CCTV image was released after the incident happened between 2.15am and 2.39am on Saturday, October 22 at a flat in Albert Terrace, Margate.

The resident woke up after hearing an intruder and then seeing the man on the roof.

The suspect is about 30 years old, white and had an English accent. He was wearing dark grey clothes and baseball cap.

The resident later realised that tiles and a skylight had been damaged.

Officers believe this is related to a similar incident in New Street, Margate, where a man fled after discovering the residents were at home.
