Margate: Police investigating theft of dog said to be let loose in Broadstairs

A one-year-old dog has reportedly been let loose in another town after being swiped from Margate.

Jasmine, a tan-coloured Chihuahua, is believed to have been stolen after she got out from the back of a premises in Marine Terrace after 1pm yesterday.

Later that afternoon two men were seen with the dog walking along Marine Drive.

It is believed they let her loose in the King George VI Memorial Park, Broadstairs.

Anyone with information about the theft or Jasmine’s present whereabouts is asked to phone police on 01843 222289 or Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting reference number ZY/35941/18.
