Drag Race favourites from a popular Netflix series will be coming to Margate next week as part of a UK-wide tour.

Stars from I Like to Watch will be hosting a live version of the show at Sundowners Bar on Thursday.

The hit web series revolves around drag queens viewing and critiquing films and shows in a flamboyant manner.

Next week's visit to Kent, which is a free event, is part of a UK tour bringing the show's stars to different towns and cities.

They are hitting the road and visiting numerous LGBT+ venues where ticket-goers can meet and greet the stars.

The Vivienne, who previously won RuPaul’s Drag Race, will be joined by Cheryl Hole in Margate on Thursday.

Sundowners, in Albert Terrace, will be hosting the event from 6pm.

Sundowners Bar will host the event

I Like to Watch started out in the US two years ago has spanned three series, and the UK version was kickstarted last spring.

A description of what the tour consists of states: "Travelling between cities in a fabulously flamboyant kitsch motorhome fit for our queens, the venues will be given an I Like To Watch living room-style makeover, immersing attendees and bringing them closer to the action than ever before.

"Each night of the tour will be hosted by a rotating cast of fan favourites, including RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner The Vivienne, Tia Kofi, Cheryl Hole and Tayce, who will be partnered with up-and-coming queens, local to each of the venues.

"Fans will get up close and personal with our queens, watching and critiquing films."

The Vivienne said: “I'm so excited to be taking I Like To Watch on the road

“We've all had a shocker over the last year or so, and queens and LGBT+ venues have really struggled. I've made a career working in bars all over the UK, so I know how vital they are to our community.

"We want to give everybody a camp time, but fingers crossed our tour can help local scenes as they start to find their feet again."
