The incident happened in Paragon, near the Royal Parade.

An ambulance crew attended the scene and took the man, believed to be around 80 years old, to the Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother hospital.

Police spokesman Scarlet Jones said: "Kent Police received a report of a collision involving two vehicles in Paragon, Ramsgate, at 9.51am today.
