Elizabethan drama at Tom Thumb Theatre

An hour-long performance about an unlucky actor is to be performed in Cliftonville this weekend.

The Tom Thumb Theatre, Cliftonville

‘The Con Man’, a one man production based in 1593, will be held at the Tom Thumb Theatre at 8pm on Saturday, April 24.

The act is about the life of Tom Askew, an Elizabethan performer, who has a murderous mob after him following a run of bad luck.

The play is fronted by Clive Holland, who recently set up a new theatre company based in Ramsgate called ‘Mischievous Theatre.’

The performance contains adult themes and strong language. Tickets are £8, which includes a drink.
